Limoncello, Chocolate, and Raspberry Tiramisu
If you want to end the evening with a romantic and unusual dessert, this limoncello tiramisu is the perfect idea: smooth, fragrant, with a hint of citrus. The limoncello adds character without overpowering, the cream envelops, the red fruits add freshness and color, while the dark chocolate provides bold flavors.
Ingredients
- Ladyfingers or sponge cake31*
- Mascarpone cream or vanilla custard (optional)
- Limoncello
- Raspberries and blueberries for decoration
- Dark chocolate
- Fresh cream
Preparation
Choose how many cups you want to make and adjust the quantity of biscuits or sponge cake accordingly.
Arrange the ladyfingers (or sponge cake) on the bottom of each glass and moisten them with the limoncello .
Separately, prepare the cream : you can use a classic mascarpone cream (even eggless, if you prefer) or a vanilla pastry cream. Spread it over the soaked crust, creating a generous layer.
Wash the raspberries well , pat them dry with paper towels and place them on the cream.
At this point, grate some dark chocolate on top ; if you want a crunchier effect, chop it finely with a knife.
Decorate with a few blueberries (even cut in half) and, if you like, complete with a quenelle of fresh cream .
Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30–60 minutes before serving, so that the aromas harmonize and the dessert becomes even more enveloping.
